It's time for another update about some of the things happening at the Card Merchant stall for Auckland Armageddon! I can't believe it's only a week away now!
As I said in the first blog, we have a stall that is 3x the size of our previous stalls and I'm very excited to reveal the reason for this! This year we will be running a Yu-Gi-Oh learn-to-play booth, where you can come and learn the game and then get exclusive deals on intro decks to get into the game.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who doesn't currently play but it looking to try a new TCG because you'll get to learn the game with others and will get the chance to get intro decks at a great price! It's also great for anyone that used to play when they were little and want to get into the game again but can't remember all the rules.
We'll have a bunch of tables set up with tutors and you'll learn with a few other people at once and get the chance to play a game against another new player. Each learn-to-play session should only take 15 minutes (20 max) including the time to play a game with your opponent, so it's a super quick way to get into the game.
It should be pretty easy to find, we'll have a bunch of awesome posters up which should be visible from quite a way away with iconic characters such as Blue Eyes White Dragon and Dark Magician. Just follow the map they give you at the door to the Card Merchant stall!
So if you haven't played the game since you were little, or if you've never played it at all, stop by and try out the learn-to-play so you can find out if the game suits you!
