Where is your store?
We opened our physical store in April 2016! We're located in shop 203 in the Glenfield Mall, on the North Shore of Auckland. To find us, we're on the bottom floor in between the sushi place and the massage shop.

We also have another store in Pakuranga Plaza! This opened in October 2016 and is located by the front entrance. If you walk in the entrance by Countdown and walk down a couple of shops, we're right next to the first alley way, still in the main area. You should be able to spot us from our awesome window display!

Our third store is in Lynn Mall. We're shop 23, next to Postie+ at the end of the mall. This store also has an upstairs area for gaming!

What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept bank transfer (for NZ customers), PayPal and PoLi payments. If you are picking up in-store, you can also use cash or Eftpos. 

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is a flat rate $5 on all standard New Zealand orders. No matter how big or heavy your shipment is, it will always be just $5. You can buy with confidence knowing exactly what you'll be paying at the checkout.
For rural addresses, it is a flat rate $10
International shipping is not currently available on the website. If you're international and would like to buy from us, please email us.
We also have $1.50 shipping for single cards. Please note this is an untracked and uninsured service and cannot be used for orders paid via paypal. We strongly suggest using tracked shipping for all orders to avoid any missing items.
We use fastway couriers for our shipping, so unfortunately we cannot ship to PO boxes at this point.

How long will it take for my parcel to arrive?
This depends on a few factors, such as when in the week you place your order. Orders shouldn't take more than a week to arrive (unless they are a pre-order, this is stated in the product description if it is). Depending on your bank, transfers can take up to 2 days (excluding weekends) to clear, it will then be another day for your item to be packed and shipped and a further day for it to arrive. Items will generally arrive 2-4 working days after an order is placed. If your order is urgent, we recommend using paypal as your payment method as this payment clears instantly.

Your daily deal prices are so low, are these genuine products?
Of course! All of our trading cards are genuine cards, so you can buy with confidence. Chloe and Matt are both competitive gamers themselves, so wouldn't ever sell fake cards. Daily deals are just your chance to get great discounts on products.

Why is the newest set rarely a daily deal?
Unfortunately because newer items are always in such high demand, we want to make sure everyone has access to them. This means that the newest products are highly unlikely to be a daily deal. The newest product may occasionally be in a bulk-type daily deal (i.e. may be part of a set of 10 boosters you can get) but due to high demand, we cannot offer these products as daily deals on their own.

Who runs this store?
Chloe Brown and Matt Rogers work together to make sure everything runs smoothly. Chloe has a background in Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh, while Matt is the Magic specialist. You'll regularly see us at events, so definitely come say hi and let us know what you think of Card Merchant! We have a few staff members who also help us out with the running of the store, they're super friendly so feel free to ask them any questions.

I want a product, but you don't have it stock, what can I do?
We aim to have a large range in stock all the time. Try doing a search (in the search bar) for the item and if it still doesn't show up, flick us an email on info@cardmerchantnz.com . We can try to get the product in for you, it may be up to a 4 week wait (depending on the product, yugioh shouldn't be more than a 1 week wait). If it's a fairly retro product, we may not be able to get it in for you as it may be out of print, but flick us an email anyway and we'll see what we can do.

Do you have any rewards programmes?
We do! For each $1 you spend, you earn 1 point. Once you've earned enough points, you can trade them in for free gifts! Create an account to get started accumulating those points! There should be a small black square on the right hand side of your screen that says "earn rewards", you can click this box for more info.

Where do you get your plushies from?
We have a couple of ranges. Anything that says Tomy in the name comes directly from Tomy, the Pokemon plush distributors for Australasia. Anything with Pokemon Center in the name comes from the Pokemon Center in Japan, we source them from a couple of different Pokemon Centers, but you can be assured that every plush we sell is a genuine Pokemon plush!

What does pre-order mean?
This means the product has not been released yet, but you can order it before it is released to ensure you get one from our first shipment. If something is marked as a pre-order, it will also have the date it is due in at the bottom of the description. Your entire order will ship once the pre-ordered goods come in.

What does back order mean?
This means it's a product we don't usually stock. Back order products are products you buy which we then order in for you. This allows us to be able to give you a larger rage of products to choose from. Generally back-orders will take 2-3 working days longer to process than regular orders.

How can I get my GST invoice?
These aren't automatically generated by our website, so for a GST reciept, please email us and we should be able to get one to you within one working day.
