Just to keep everyone in the loop with what's going on at Card Merchant, here's a few of the things coming up over the next couple of weeks and what we've been up to lately
Online
- We've changed how daily deals work. With 2 stores (plus having another job and uni), doing 2 deals every day was a little much and often got forgotten about so we've updated how we do daily deals. We now have 1 deal every day which could be for any of the games or accessories (instead of 1 for each game). As before, it's a limited time deal, it will change each day at midnight and there's a limited amount available. This will mean we can keep bringing you new deals every day!
- We now accept PoLi payments, this means you can pay with bank deposit without having to leave the site!
- We have a lot of new Japanese product arriving in around 2 weeks. If there's anything in particular you'd like Matt to look out for at the Pokemon Center, flick us an email with what you're after and we'll try to get it.
- In case you haven't seen, there's now a small selection of BREAK cards available online here. These are limited quantities, so once they're gone, they probably won't be back.
Pakuranga
- We're starting a Sunday hobby league, so if you want to come and play some casual Pokemon, head down at Midday on Sundays to play. This is a FREE league, so you've got nothing to lose!
- Generations boosters have been re-stocked and we have Generations ETBs and Pikachu boxes in now.
- For anyone who wants to play a few games with their mates, remember our gaming area is always available to use, feel free to use the tables to play some games even when there's not organised tournaments on.
- We have pop figures arriving soon! We're expecting them early next week, so keep an eye out for those, we'll have a display set up near where all the TCG products are at the moment.
Glenfield
- There's a lot of new stuff in Glenfield now, the singles folder is nice and full and the shelves are looking full again! Theme decks and much more are back in stock.
- Japanese plushies will be arriving in Glenfield in just over 2 weeks
- On Monday we'll be bringing in some more Generations stock, so keep an eye out because we'll have more boosters, Pikachu boxes and ETBs
- It's likely we'll be bringing some of the pop figurines to Glenfield too, they should be coming in late next week.
Other
- We've booked in a few Armageddon Expos already for early next year, so hopefully we'll be able to see a lot more of the country soon! Keep an eye out for more details on this in the new year.
- We have a lot of other exciting things in the works, next year should be a lot of fun so check for updates in the new year to get a better idea of what we'll be doing!
